2005 - 2006 Burgess Hill School for Girls' U12 Athletics Team took part in the North Sussex Area Competition held at Sackville School, East Grinstead.
Eleven schools competed and the Burgess Hill School girls rose to the occasion, producing a series of promising performances which bode well for the future of athletics. They finished in 2nd place, just three points behind the winners, Sackville.
