The Junior School We are proud of the reputation Junior School music has in the area. Music here is vibrant and all the girls enjoy two music lessons every week with music specialists, in addition to the many music clubs open to our pupils. Singing, music-making, musical appreciation, theory, composition and performing are all part of the curriculum.
Individual tuition is available in a wide range of instruments and girls are encouraged to join the choir, orchestra and other instrumental groups as their confidence grows.
We have an excellent Junior School orchestra, a recorder group, string and brass ensembles, Suzuki group, choir and other musical groups. Many girls achieve a very high standard and there are regular opportunities for girls to perform to an audience both in and out of school.
