2005 - 2006 Burgess Hill School for Girls' Rounders Team took part in the West Sussex Tournament held at Hazlewick School, Crawley.
In the group stage they beat Millais School 9 1/2 - 4 and Thomas Bennett 8 1/2 - 2 to advance to the semi-finals where they beat the Weald School, Billingshurst by 7 1/2 to 2 1/2.
In the final the Burgess Hill girls batted well and took some impressive catches in the field to beat a strong Tanbridge House side by 9 1/2 rounders to 6 1/2 to become the West Sussex Champions.
