Cross Country
Burgess Hill School for Girls competed in the District Cross Country Competition at Ardingly College. All four teams ran well with Year 8 finishing second of the ten schools in their age group. Year 7 stole the show finishing in first place, a clear 21 points ahead of their nearest rivals due to outstanding runs from Rhian Male, Emilie Brammer and Isabelle Gibson. "This was an exceptional performance. It is rare to win by such a wide margin when faced by such strong opposition," said Deleece Tapping, the girls' Physical Education teacher.
