Nursery Education Grant

Burgess Hill Nursery is registered as an Early Years Partner with West Sussex County Council and neighbouring Councils and, as is the normal practice, the Nursery will claim the grant from the appropriate Council for all eligible children. Currently each three and four year old is entitled to 5 x 2.5 hour free sessions per week. Based on 34 weeks per annum, the grant amounts to £501.00 per 12 week term and £459.25 per 11 week term, for five sessions per week. This amount will be deducted from the fee accounts for the terms in which it is applicable and is available from the term following the third birthday. Parents do not need to take any action other than produce the Birth Certificate for the child, on request, to the School in order to prove the child's date of birth. If you require further information about the Grant please contact the Nursery Manager.
