General News Burgess Hill School for Girls’ Harvest Assembly was on Friday 12th October and once again supported Crawley Open House. This year the staff and girls made an extra effort because they learnt that Crawley Open House provided 41,000 free meals in the past year. 21,000 of these meals were made from contributions from the previous year’s Harvest contributions which came from the various local churches and schools. Thanks to the energetic encouragement of the Charity Committee there was a big increase in donations this year.
