Senior & Sixth Form News The Year 7 and 8 Drama clubs from Burgess Hill School for Girls recently performed a fabulous selection of “Roald Dahl’s tales” and scenes from “Our Day Out” by Willy Russell. The special thing about both of these Drama clubs is that they are run by the Upper Sixth Drama and Theatre Studies students, as well as the cast themselves. “The Sixth Form and the casts have been fantastic this year. The six Upper Sixth students have worked so hard and have dedicated so much time to both of the clubs. The Year 7 and 8 girls have really enjoyed themselves and learnt a great deal along the way,” said Miss Emma Tarratt, Head of Drama. “It is a real testament to the way in which the School works here; a real team effort with the students creating their own opportunities to succeed. The performances were a lot of fun and I am sure that everyone is very proud of what they have achieved!”
