Senior & Sixth Form News Spanish learners in Years 9, 10 and 11 at Burgess Hill School for Girls enjoyed an entertaining performance from the Onatti Theatre Company on Monday 3rd March. This new play, performed entirely in Spanish, is set in a travel agency where Christina is the customer and Sergio the helpful male assistant. What follows is a fun 50 minutes full of audience participation, costumes and music and Sergio trying to convince Christina to try something new like camping, skiing or scuba diving by literally testing these things out in the agency. It ends with Christina finding the perfect holiday along with the perfect man (Sergio!) to accompany her!
The girls greatly enjoyed the show; it was a fantastic way to learn new vocabulary and practise their Spanish listening skills.
The Onatti Theatre Company writes and produces plays in French, German and Spanish which are specifically aimed at secondary school students.
