Trip to Fishbourne Roman Palace

As part of their History studies Year 3 from Burgess Hill School for Girls enjoyed a wonderful visit to Fishbourne Roman Palace. The girls participated in a number of hands on activities, including dressing as Roman citizens, ‘working in the kitchen’, writing on wax tablets, making mosaics and bridge building. The girls were fascinated by the Dolphin Mosaic in the North Wing and seeing a real skeleton! Of course another definite highlight of the day was visiting the Palace shop!
